Draw Along with Corbin Rainbolt

Curious about how to artistically depict pre-historic life? Or simply interested in a fun, creative way to spend a Saturday night? Join us for a draw along paleo art night with Corbin Rainbolt at the Joseph Moore Museum! No artistic experience is needed.
WHEN: Doors open at 7pm and the draw-along will start at 7:15pm. The workshop will last about an hour with plenty of time afterward to explore the museum, check out some of Corbin’s artwork, and listen to graduating senior Cade Orchard discuss their paleontological interests.
WHERE: The Joseph Moore Museum on Earlham College’s campus (801 National Rd W, Richmond, IN 47374). Seating is limited so preregistration is required to participate in the draw-along portion of the event.
There are two ways you can participate in this artistic evening:
Ticket Option #1: Draw-Along with Corbin Rainbolt
This ticket will reserve your spot for the limited draw-along portion of the event. You may bring your own materials based on the materials listed below or purchase a kit of materials at the museum gift shop for $10. Kits for purchase will include everything from the list below and items will not be able to be purchased separately.Materials Needed for the Draw-Along Activity

– white conté crayon
– kneaded rubber eraser
– mechanical pencil
Ticket Option #2: Observing and Exploring
This ticket allows you to observe the draw-along event but not participate, join the Q&A with Corbin, view the gallery of Corbin’s work, participate in the talks by graduating senior Cade Orchard, and explore the museum.
ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Corbin Rainbolt, a 2020 graduate of Earlham College and a JMM alum, is one of the foremost up-and-coming paleoartists. Many of the exhibits in the Joseph Moore Museum have artwork designed by Corbin. Corbin’s work was even recently featured on CNN.
