SUMMARY:Fossil Hunting Eco-Tour
DESCRIPTION:Richmond\, Indiana\, is a fabulous place to find fossils of ancient sea creatures that lived over 400 million years ago!   \nEarlham senior Koen Arthaud-Day will lead us to the stream that runs through Earlham’s Nature Reserve to look for fossils. We’ll enjoy a nature walk and then search for fossils from the Ordovician period\, when this area was under a shallow\, tropical ocean!  \nWhen: Saturday\, April 19th\, 2-3:30pm \nWho: This eco-tour favorite is FREE and open to all individuals\, students and families! No registration required.  \nWhere: Meet at Sadler Stadium (Earlham College Baseball Field) Parking Lot. To get to the stadium from National Rd. W\, turn onto College Ave. Turn left onto SW G St\, then right onto SW 5th St. Make a right onto Earlham Drive. \nWhat to expect: Guests can expect to walk up to two miles in the woods.
